We saw the emergence of youth culture, the comprehensive education system, conspicuous consumerism and feminism. Either come and reminisce or discover what life was like at the time.<\/p>\n<p>This talk is much more than just a collection of memories. The techniques described will help both men and women, of all ages, to start writing reminiscences of their own.<\/p>\n<h3>About the speaker<\/h3>\n<p>Janet Few is an experienced and qualified family, social and community historian who lectures regularly on these subjects throughout the UK and overseas. She has spoken at many national and international genealogical events and is also a well known author. Her particular interests include women's history, the history of the marginalised and seventeenth century social history. She is actively involved in several family and local history societies and is currently serving as the President of the Family History Federation.
