Hoodening\, Wassailing and the Blessing of the Sea are a few of the unusual but traditional events\, many of which\, still take place in the area today. \nAbout the Speaker:\nSue Duckworth is a professional Blue Badge Guide for the South/South East of England\, Canterbury Cathedral and a Green Badge Guide for Canterbury City since 2012. She lives near Ashford in Kent and before becoming a Guide\, she worked as a Librarian in Kent for almost 20 years. Sue still enjoys bringing her talks to life through stories.
